Handmade:
We make these from locally and sustainably sourced Red Cedar. As always with our local Red Cedar, this piece has beautiful grain patterns and coloring. Actual product color may vary from the images shown. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.

Food-Safe Finish: Our Red Cedar Nested Trays are treated with a food-grade, mineral oil, enhancing the natural color and grain of the wood while providing a safe surface for serving your favorite cheeses, meats, and snacks.  Our food safe items can be wiped clean with a damp rag and preserved with an occasional coat of mineral oil. You can purchase Butcher Block Oil (food safe mineral oil) at your local hardware store. Rub a very light coating of a natural wood care oil then wipe off any excess.

To maintain the beauty and integrity of your cedar platter, hand wash with mild soap and water. Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil to nourish the wood and protect its natural luster.  Never submerse your platter in water or put it in the dishwasher!
