Food-Safe Finish: Our wood pieces are treated with a food-grade, mineral oil, enhancing the natural color and grain of the wood while providing a safe surface. Our food safe items can be wiped clean with a damp rag and preserved with an occasional coat of mineral oil. You can purchase Butcher Block Oil (food safe mineral oil) at your local hardware store. Rub a very light coating of a natural wood care oil then wipe off any excess.

Care Instructions:
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your cedar platter, hand wash with mild soap and water. Periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil to nourish the wood and protect its natural luster.  Never submerse your platter in water or put it in the dishwasher!
